Seriously, 20 Percent?
Mar. 9th, 2011 11:59 pmWednesday...something?
I went to work Wednesday night and noodled around the internet for a goodly portion of it. I'm still obsessed with researching cars, even though I've reached the limitations of what I can practically research without being prepared to buy right this second. I'm still pretty sure I want a 2008 Hyundai Elantra, but I find it deeply annoying that the local dealers are advertising these cars at fully 20% more than the dealer-prices estimated by Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, and Consumer Reports. I know car dealers want to dicker, but...sheesh. Don't they want to advertise an attractive price, too?
Oh! I just remembered that Pam, Juli the Friend's mom, wrote a brilliant car-buying entry on her blog about two years ago. I'm off to reread and pick up some tips.
